i’m bored. im so bored im going to write about being bored. boredum is: when you have nothing to do b/c nothing interests you. boredum is when you sit in a chair and your neck falls out and your mouth is open and you’re staring at the ceiling. boredum is when you write a post about being bored. bored is not when you have something to do. things you do when your bored: nothing productive. fuck with peoples lives. imagine all possible ways a situation can go, mostly negative. i guess thats not bored if its productive. another thing, not being productive. its when you’re not doing what you should be doing. like looking up places to live. [yawn] bored is when you try to think of something interesting. bored is silent. lets break down the word bored: bo-red so something to do with red. and Bo ( i looked it up, is.. ) Best Offer. soo Best offer is red. thats all you got thats all i can give you: red, my best offer. Someone has seen the worst in me and is disgusted by me. then there’s someone who doesn’t see any worst. then there’s someone who’s only seen the best of me and they think i’m amazing. Then there’s someone who’s seen both and walks away. then there’s the same who’s seen both and still lovesme.

I have been asked this question a number of times, more like a number of number of number of times. It’s comes with the territory of being mixed. Bi-racial, multi-racial. mutt. half. Hapa. a race cocktail. a melting pot of races, which is just America personified. 

I don’t ask many people about their race. I usually only ask if there’s nothing to say and their “look” i can’t assume very well. which is probably the same reason they ask. I don’t get offended when people ask, it’s more like exhaustion from telling people over and over again. my brother said he just has given up and just says chinese and white. 

Well technically, We are Half chinese (cantonese to be exact), a Quarter German and a Quarter Welsh, with a dash of French somewhere.

I am most proud of my Welsh roots. Mostly because Princess Di was the Princess of Wales. It’s also a higher fancier class of people I like to believe on the pure fact that we have a princess.

Next would be Chinese, not really, but it’s the one i am most connected too, because it’s half of me, the majority. I eat the food, i know some phrases, practice traditions, and I see my grandparents, who are full Chinese and speak. I know more of the culture. Cantonese is a dying language. Most Chinese is spoken in Mandarin. the TV shows, the classes, the business exchanges. So we’re special. It’s a language from the countryside of China. And well i love the country.

Then there’s the German side, that one I am only proud of when i’m drinking a beer or eating a sausage and sauerkraut or homemade German dinners. I asked him once. “What are the good qualities about germans/germany?”. he said, “diligent workers (clean), imperialists, and intellectuals (genius’).”  me, “imperialist that’s not a good thing.” he says “oh you said good?”. Sometimes i’m embarrassed to say German b/c Hitler is German. But we also have Beethoven.

Hapa is a term I like. it’s the Hawaiian term for, Half of some white and half of some Asian. I saw this book in Santa Barbara of just some profile shots of Hapa people. Won’t forget that. I’m not the only one! I see that as the product of the Vietnam war. When a bunch of white guys come back and want to fuck asian women. And then there was Yoko and John making Sean Lennon. Prolly the most famous Hapa next to Kristen Kreuk from Smallville.

I’ve gotten all the Asians and Brazilian once as guesses on top of being some white. Brazilian was my favorite, i’ll take that one.
